What To Expect
Visiting for the first time? Here's what you can expect when you come to our church.
Parking Lot
Our parking lot is located behind Flynn and Sons Funeral Home, located at 422 East Avenue, on the corner of East and Broad, in Perth Amboy. The parking lot entrance is on Broad Street. Be sure to arrive in time to park then take a 2 minute, 1.5 blocks walk to 205 New Brunswick. A parking attendant will be happy to show you where to go!
Accessibility
Currently there is a flight of stairs leading to the sanctuary, and no elevator. While all are welcome, we are unable to accommodate those physically limited from walking up the stairs.
Wear Whatever You Like
There's no preferred attire at Kingdom Living. You can dress up or dress casually, it's up to you. Pastor DeWayne prefers to wear suits but will occasionally dress down; Lady Courtney favors jeans and will sometimes dress up. You'll find that everyone's attire ranges between dressy and casual, from Sunday to Sunday. However you feel most comfortable is fine with us.
Sit Wherever You Like
Besides the first two rows, there is no other reserved seating. Feel free to sit in any available seat, or ask an usher if you need assistance.
Pre-Service Prayer
We begin prayer at 9:30 a.m., so please enter quietly. Church service begins at 10 a.m.
We Start @ 10 AM. Sharp.
Pre-service prayer at 9:30 is followed by a hymn or pre-service selection at 9:55. Praise & worship usually begins right at 10.
Kingdom Kids
We offer children's church for ages 18 months to 12 years. Children are dismissed for Kingdom Kids immediately after praise and worship, usually around 10:30 a.m.
Ministry Time After Sermons
After the sermon, an invitation to discipleship is offered. The Pastor and ministers will minister to the spiritual needs of the people through the gifts of the Spirit as the Holy Spirit leads.
